ASTM A672 C60 CL22 is an electrofusion welded pipe made of carbon-based stainless steel for use in high-pressure applications at moderate temperatures. Its alloy contains elements such as phosphorus, sulfur and manganese, which provide excellent mechanical properties such as strong structure and precise dimensions.
Corrosion of ASTM A672 B65 steel pipe is exacerbated by surface treatment. The surface of ASTM A672 B60 welded pipe can be treated or coated with varnish, black or colored paint, and anti-corrosion oil. According to user requirements, ASTM A672 welded pipes can be heat treated.
ASTM A672 C65 pipe is available in rectangular, hydraulic, round, and square shapes, and the ends can be protected by plastic caps, or they can be flat cut, bevel cut, threaded, grooved, or square cut, and can have connecting ends.
Industries using ASTM A672 pipe include specialty chemicals, chemical equipment, petrochemicals, condensers, heat exchangers, gas processing, pharmaceuticals and their equipment, seawater equipment, offshore oil drilling companies, and the pulp and paper industry.
