Introduction

ASTM A790 UNS S32750 is a specification that covers seamless and welded ferritic/austenitic stainless steel pipes. The grade UNS S32750 is a super duplex stainless steel with a high level of chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen content that provides excellent resistance to corrosion, pitting, and crevice corrosion.

There are three groups of duplex, namely the duplex, super duplex and lean duplex. Each of them has their own composition and specific mechanical properties as a result. As the Super Duplex UNS S32750 Pipe belongs to the super duplex category, it is used for high strength and high corrosive applications. The alloy has 25% chromium in its composition along with 4% molybdenum and 7% nickel. This material composition makes it stronger and much corrosion resistant than the ordinary duplex material.
