Type 316Ti is a titanium-stabilized variant of 316 alloy that contains molybdenum to improve corrosion resistance, improve resistance to pitting chloride ion solutions and increase strength at high temperatures.
316Ti stainless steel pipe is a titanium stabilized variant of 316 alloy. This molybdenum-containing austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel improves corrosion resistance, increases resistance to pitting in chloride ion solutions, and provides greater strength at elevated temperatures. Its properties are similar to those of Alloy 316 Pipe, except that 316Ti Stainless Steel Clad Pipe can be used at elevated sensitization temperatures due to the addition of titanium. Improved corrosion resistance, especially to sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, acetic acid, formic acid and tartaric acid, acidic sulfates and alkaline chlorides.
