Description
ASTM A335 Grade P12 Seamless Pipe ranges in size from 1/8NB to 24NB. The material is a chromium molybdenum alloy with high hardness, corrosion resistance and high temperature service capabilities. Steel India Company is a leading supplier and manufacturer of the SA335 P12 Alloy Steel Pipe in various dimensions and forms. There are different dimensions of the outer diameters ranging from 19.05mm to 114.3mm and the wall thicknesses of the pipes range from 2mm to 14mm. The ASTM A335 grade P12 Pipe also comes in different lengths up to 16000mm with single random, double random and cut to length sizes.

Manufacturing process of the pipes is seamless and they are used in oil and gas, petrochemical, petroleum and other high temperature and high pressure applications. The A335 P12 Welded Pipe is used with welding applications where the seamless pipes are more dimensionally accurate. There are different schedules corresponding to the wall thickness and the outer diameter such as schedule 20 through schedule XXS in this material grade. The P12 Seamless Pipe can have different forms such as round, square, rectangular and hydraulic forms. Different application interfaces need different types of pipe ends and the pipes have beveled end, plain end and threaded end types. The ASTM A335 P12 Alloy Steel Pipe is made up of carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon, chromium and molybdenum. This composition allows the material to have the physical and mechanical properties suitable for high temperature and high pressure services. The Sch40 P12 Alloy Steel Pipe has 205MPa minimum yield strength and 415MPa minimum tensile strength. It can also be further hardened by heat treatment.
