SA-210C (25MnG): It is the steel grade in the ASME SA-210 standard. It is a small-diameter carbon-manganese steel pipe for boilers and superheaters, and a pearlite-type heat-strength steel.
The chemical composition of 25MnG boiler steel pipe is simple. Except for the higher carbon and manganese content, the rest is similar to 20G. Therefore, its yield strength is about 20% higher than that of 20G, while its plasticity and toughness are equivalent to that of 20G. The steel has a simple production process and good hot and cold processing properties.
