4130 alloy steel pipe contains carbon 0.26~0.34, silicon 0.17~0.37, manganese 0.40~0.70, molybdenum 0.15~0.25, chromium 0.80~1.10. 4130 is equivalent to Japanese SCM430. This steel has high strength and toughness, high hardenability, and the critical hardenable diameter in oil is 15 to 70 mm. The steel also has good thermal strength and has sufficient high-temperature strength below 500°C, but it has sufficient high-temperature strength below 550°C. The intensity dropped significantly.
