Q125 indicates that the steel casing has a minimum yield strength of 125,000 psi (862 MPa). Q125 casing is a high-strength casing material suitable for harsh oil and gas exploration and production environments.
API 5CT Q125 oil casing is designed for use as casing and tubing in oil and gas wells. Casing is used to support the borehole wall, protect the wellbore from external pressures, and prevent fluid migration. Tubing is used to extract oil and gas from wells. Q125carbon steel casing pipe can be manufactured by seamless or resistance welding (ERW) process. In the oil and gas industry, seamless casing is commonly used in critical applications.
API 5CT Q125 casing in borewell may undergo a heat treatment process to achieve required mechanical properties and improve its performance under specific downhole conditions.
The specifications and models of Q125 oil casing are determined according to relevant standards. The diameters are usually 600mm, 700mm, 800mm, 900mm, 1000mm, 1100mm, 1200mm and other specifications.
