  • Advantages
  1. Efficient and fast: high-frequency welding uses high-frequency current to rapidly heat the workpiece, which makes the welding process very fast and greatly improves the production efficiency and shortens the production cycle.
  2. High welding quality: High-frequency welding has less impact on the surrounding materials, reducing thermal deformation and thermal damage, thus ensuring the strength and sealing of the welded joints. In addition, it is highly controllable, capable of automatically adjusting welding parameters to suit different welding needs, ensuring the stability and consistency of welding quality.
  3. Environmental protection and energy saving: High-frequency welding does not rely on flammable gases, there is no smoke and exhaust emissions, reducing safety hazards and environmental pollution, in line with the requirements of modern industry for green production. Compared with traditional welding methods, high-frequency welding has less energy loss in the heating process, which helps reduce production costs.
  4. Easy to operate: Handheld high-frequency welding machines are easy to carry and operate, increasing the flexibility of use and suitable for a variety of operating environments. The equipment is usually equipped with an intuitive operator interface and intelligent control system, which can automatically adjust the welding parameters, further simplifying the operation process.
  5. Wide range of application: High frequency welding can be used for copper tubes as small as 7mm or 6.35mm and as large as 80mm in diameter to meet the needs of different sizes. In addition, it can also achieve brazing of copper to aluminium, copper to iron and other homogeneous or heterogeneous metals, providing a wider range of applicability.
  • Disadvantages
  1. Limited scope of application: High frequency welding is only applicable to thinner metal tubes; for tubes with larger wall thicknesses, other welding methods are required.
  2. Certain requirements on the material: high-frequency welding on the material and surface quality of the metal pipe has certain requirements, need to ensure that the pipe surface cleanliness and flatness, otherwise it will affect the welding quality.
  3. Welded joints in a single form: high-frequency welding can only be used for straight seam welding, not for other forms of welded joints.
