ASTM A213 standard stainless steel pipes are mainly used for high-temperature applications, such as boilers, heat exchangers, etc.
ASTM A269 standard stainless steel pipes are more widely used for general purposes, including chemical, petroleum, power and other fields.
ASTM A213 steel pipes can still maintain high strength and stability at high temperatures and can withstand long-term high-temperature operation. At the same time, it also has strong corrosion resistance and pressure resistance, and can remain stable in the environment of a variety of chemical substances.
ASTM A269 standard stainless steel pipes mainly stipulate the standard technical conditions for seamless and welded and heavily cold-worked austenitic stainless steel nominal pipes, which have the characteristics of acid and alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, good toughness, and reusability.
ASTM A213 standard covers the specifications of seamless pipes and welded pipes, while the corresponding standard in my country is mainly GB 13296-2007 (stainless steel seamless pipes for boilers and heat exchangers).
ASTM A269 standard is widely used in the United States, while in my country, the corresponding standard is GB/T13296-20133.
ASTM A213 seamless steel pipes are usually produced with positive tolerances, and can also be produced with flat or negative tolerances according to customer needs to meet specific engineering requirements.
ASTM A269 stainless steel pipes focus more on their versatility and flexibility, and are suitable for a variety of different equipment and systems.
